Intesesting that such a prickly plant on the outside would contain healing juices, like aloe, on the inside. Sort of like people. Things aren’t always as they appear.
I have hundreds of different kinds of cactus in my gardens and surprisingly, they are hard to photograph to show all of the fascinating needles. Good job here on the prickly pair. :).
